| Devin was at the computer, the lab was somewhat empty, maybe a few others but that was about it. Although he seemed confident for this year, he heard that Spencer was coming back. He already killed Luke, what if he came to kill someone else? Everyone should be scared, besides. He could be like The Perfect Liar, and just act like he isn't crazy and needs to stay in Radley. Devin was really confused about if he wanted to stay or not. He maybe wanted to transfer back after all that has happened. He would have to see what happens though. |

| Skyler couldn't be sure if there were an actual way to play this game or not, but there probably was. And she could probably just look it up on the computer she were now on, except she couldn't be bothered because she thought she was doing pretty well without the help of the instructions. Originally coming to the computer lab to actually do something, which she now forgot, Skyler found herself being sidetracked by a funny little game called minesweeper. Again, she was sure there probably was a specific art to the game, but it was fun enough to just guess and hope the square you clicked on wasn't one of those spikey little bombs.
But her concentration was marred slightly when Devin, a member of her own house sat at a computer nearby. There were only a few people there, so it wasn't like you could miss someone being there. And he wasn't being overly distractive either. It was more the fact that he just sat there, with a wide arrange of emotions flitting across his face as he did. One that stood out above the rest was the easily recognized look of confusion. Skyler wondered if it were the computer that confused him. He was a pureblood right? She couldn't really remember. She didn't know him really. Just met him that once in the common room when Ian was being less than gentlemanly.
Either way, while the lost puppy look was adorably, especially on Devin, that was the problem. It was far too distracting for her to concentrate on her game. So Skyler did what any normal American witch would do. She sauntered over to the boy, and plopped down unceremoniously in the seat next to him and asked, "What's eating you?" |

| Devin shook his head and sighed. "It's just that, I heard that Spencer is coming back." he stated. "I don't know much about rumors, but this one has to be true. Since his incident, he only has had one visit, and that was from Chase. If it is true, then we could all be in danger. We don't know what's lurking in his head.." Devin said. Devin was truly worried for his own safety, as well as everyone else's well-being and state-of-mind. It was getting to the point where he maybe wanted to transfer back, or face Spencer himself. It was only a matter of time, because he knew that he couldn't keep his mouth shut. It was impossible. |

| Skyler blinked, a bit taken aback. Whatever she had been expecting, it wasn't that. She had heard a few rumors of course, and of course everyone was on edge lately because of them. But Skyler didn't really like being in the middle of things like this. Unfortunately, her curiosity seemed to have landed her there. "So you're worried." It wasn't a question. It was obvious given his confused state. Who wasn't worried? "Do you know why he would want to come back? I mean, he has to know what everyone will be thinking."
Skyler wanted to ease her friend's mind, but she also had a feeling that some things just needed to pan out, and maybe this was one of those things. Skyler couldn't help but get the ominous feeling that things were going to get a lot worse before they started to see the silver lining. |

| "I.. I don't know," he said. "I need to speak with Leonardo," he said, slowly getting up. "I will see you at the dormitory." Devin headed out the room, and immediately up to Leonardo's office. |

| Nodding, Skyler watched her friend leave with a thoughtful expression. When she had moved here, she hasn't expected all these curve balls being thrown at her. Sure she had done a few normal things like have the paper airplane race with Merri and blow up all the potions in class, but these shadows and whatnot were on a whole other level. Suddenly, being at the academy was more like a choice between life and death, and she could understand Devin's worry. Sighing, Skyler figured the headmaster was the one person he should be going to for answers. Unless...
Blue eyes lighting up, Skyler got an idea. Quickly going back to her own computer, she threw all her things back in her bag and hightailed it out of the computer lab. Maybe, just maybe, there was a way to figure out what was going on. |
